So this blog is supposed to be about fixing things, but what about our lives? Chances are at least most of my readers have felt they needed to fix their own lives at one point or another. Can we? Should we Try? My simple answer to both of these questions is NO. Let me explain…

I believe that no man is born “fixed” and no man is capable of “fixing” himself. (see Romans 3:23) So we are broken people born into a broken world… Does that mean we need to stay broken? No…

Jesus was born into the same world. He faced the same temptations and willingly gave up his life to Fix our sin problem. (see 2 Corinthians 5:21) This “fixing” is a process that will likely occupy most of our lives on earth. The important part is realizing we have No power to “fix” ourselves but rather only to make ourselves more broken. Knowing this, we must cry our to Jesus. Implore him for forgiveness. Ask him to “fix” you, to heal you, and to make you whole. Allow him to bind up your wounds. Friends, I tell you honestly, If you never learn to fix anything in this world but you cry out for Jesus for healing (fixing) in your life your WILL NOT be disappointed. Well, Enough for now.
